The Process

Depending on services requested we may begin with pressure washing, grinding or sand blasting to remove dirt, debris, and existing materials.

When grinding or sandblasting the process starts out messy! But this is normal and once prep is finished we stand by our word to clean 99% of the mess.

When Power washing the surface will be cleaned and will need to completely dry before staining or sealing can be done. Expect a day or few for the prep depending on project size.

Once grinding, blasting, or washing is complete you can expect painters plastic to be applied to all areas needed to protect surrounding surfaces. 

Base coats can be concerning to some folks, but each canvas must be blank to make to finished product look its best, we use coordinating base coats. Chosen colors are applied as highlights over this color, and sealer to create a finished surface.

Sealer, our sealer has been custom created for exactly how we use and apply it to concrete surfaces. Once sealer is applied it can take 24-72 hours cure time depending on conditions. 

You will want to stay off the surfaces (including pets) once the process has begun, as well as move any items of concern away from the project area. Please have furniture removed or discuss including moving fees for furniture.

Things to consider.

The weather can play the biggest factor in our industry. We cannot apply concrete stains or sealers in raining conditions, extreme wind, extreme heat or cold, these can all effect the timeline of projects.

Surroundings, trees and bushes can sometimes create hindrance of projects like fruiting trees, pollen, or overhanging growth onto the concrete surface, please trim/move any plants of concern 

Please consider these when choosing when you wish to start your project. Cost of materials is quoted for 90 days, and are subject to change due to material cost increase.
